Fright Night poster

Gay: 6/10. I'm pretty sure Jerry and his boyfriend were implied to be gay. And then there's that little faggot's "salvation" moment.

Enjoyment: 10/10. I wasn't gonna give it to them but the homoeroticism plus practical effects plus excessive gore takes it. This movie is gorgeous AND it was made by a horror diretor I already appreciate. I LOVE Jerry's character and his sweaters and his torment. He only can show himself to Charlie because no one would ever believe him. Plus I love the concept of going to Sarah Michelle Gellar in real life to help kill a vamipre and SHE DOES!

Vampires: GORGEOUS. So much creativity went into these freaks. They look disgusting and crazy and their hair grows? Idk but they rip, better than lost boys at times but they're both good and gross. And then the main vampire wears sweaters and has curly hair *o*

Sire Rule: There is the sire rule for the cure.

Representative of 1980s? YES!

Relative Popularity? Pretty popular for a vampire movie
