Date Rewatched: 2/11/2023

Gay: 10/10. I'm giving it to her. The portrait scene was so gay they had to rewrite it.

Enjoyment: 7/10. Like most of these old ones I find it slow. Marya is obviously amazing but the "main characters" are boring. This has also been pitched to me as "Marya abducts a girl and is a predator" but that's not what this movie is. It's enjoyable but not preferred.

Vampires:Same as dracula but it's still kinda boring. Her silhouette is dynamic but there were still few visual tropes. However I love her hair, clothes, and she has hypnosis eyes too. She's also hot so 6/10

Representative of 1930s? Yes absolutely

Relative Popularity? It's really only known by queer film history people (but that might change soon).
